History of Dobermans

In the video shown below, it gives the historical background on the breed of the Doberman Pinscher. It tells how the dogs were specifically bred for the purpose of protection. Oddly enough, the Doberman was created through the breeding of multiple terriers. Terriers are not noted to be aggressive, but stereotypically have been known to be nip at people when upset. In the video , it tells how these animals have a “menacing look” specifically due to the cropping of their ears. This video also tells of how dobermans can be a sweet dog in a family setting and gives stories the defy the odds of these dogs being aggressive.
